the most noteworthy thing i thought is he apparently has a lifesize puppet of jarjar-binks in his home cinema.. WTF!?
what kind of man has that with a straight face on? :P

i saw the neogeo episode where he talks about his collection, he bought a nearly full set in less that 10 months.. wheres the fun in it if it comes that easily? 90% of neogeo games are shovelware anyways so why have the full set unless youre super passionate about the system?

seems like a nice guy tho, kids in his neighbourhood must be extatic :)

So, like most people with a very big collection, he has been in the videogame buisness way before everyone started even collecting ^^

    FUUUUUUUUUUCK!

And not only a ferrari but a fucking GT-R too!

Still think that if you make $250k a year but dont spend on dumb rich people shit like really expensive booze, designer clothes ($500 jeans and shit like that) or gaudy junk like rappers do, is not that difficult to have a collection like that.

A custom tricked-out escalade would cost more than all the arcades on that video, and his garage looks anything but posh so if the house is also like that he probably saved on that too. Luxurious real estate is insanely expensive, I have seen really fancy garages that cost more than the lambos and porches inside. You would be surprised how much stuff you can buy if you don't overspend on a house.

Impressive collection but I'm going to have to ding him on a few things (and no, not about his lack of gf or whatever):

    - his garage for those cars looks like a dillipidated shack
    - Western arcade cabs
    - his console collection looks to be in varying shape, lots of sunfaded games

I'm doubting it's the biggest or best collection in the world but that's entirely subjective. Wish I had the same space for my collection which is about 4500 pieces.

even tho its rather sizeable id say your collection is definetly more qualitative, was very impressed by the lack of "shelf fodder" from what i saw. :)

Seriously, this guy's collection is out of this world! I envy his "good connections" at Sega Japan too...

I noticed the many sunfaded Saturn games and they're probably also not entirely complete with spine cards. If I had this much money for games I'd rather make sure to buy them in pristine condition instead of having even more games but with some lousy condition items among them. And he says it so easily "complete Saturn library", but that makes me wonder if he has all the really hard to get items as well, like Denpa Shounen Teki Game 2 and some really rare variations. He never mentioned these in his youtube videos either.
<- can someone please make this as a repro and sell it so me?

That's why I think it's subjective whether this collection is that great or not. For myself, I just don't understand why you'd want a complete collection for a given format when many of those games would be shit but this is probably because I'm more of a serious player than most collectors. It's too easy to fall into collection traps like the complete library or having too many versions of the same game. I mean really, why would you have multiple versions of something like Forgotten Worlds when you have the arcade original? The only rationale that passes in my mind is if a port provides a significantly different experience like say with Double Dragon III Arcade vs Famicom or maybe for the arranged music of a CD version.

Somehow money makes everything seem easy, huh?

If you got money it's just about waiting, instead of waiting and hoping that your holy grail shows up at the right moment....you know, like for normal people :/

Look at the bright side: More pleasant anticipation without money. You get bored fast when everything is readily available at your finger tips.

True, but if you get bored you just use your money and buy your self something else to occupy the time.

You wouldn't be in business for very long then as everyone would pick you over and sell on eBay or whatnot. Also, where would your stock come from?

So as long as I have a CIB MD Tetris and 1000 copies of Superman 64 my collection would be awesome to you. Good to know. :)

I wouldn't care about the 1000 superman to be honest.
But since you'll most probably never own a CIB Tetris ;)
