Hey so today I modded a snes (mucked up the region mod but managed to fix it so it was all good)
Aside from that I didn't have the 2.2k resistor for the 50/60 hz so I thought, never mind, might aswell make sure it all works so far anyway and to my surprise 60hz worked without being connected to anything at all so why would this be?
Edit: Update
The two legs from the chips i lifted snapped off and now what I basically have is a region free famicom (it was a pal snes) it runs in 60hz only and runs games from all regions which dont have a check for the refresh rate. So why do all the 50/60 hz guides specify the use of a 2.2k resistor and a 5v supply?
