Nes Making a NES Test Cart

    Hello Assemblergames members

I am in the process to build a NES Test Cart. From what i know i need:

1 x Super mario bros cart PCB
    2 x IC sockets
    2 x 27C512 EPROMS/EEPROMS

The problem is in the programing of the erpoms. Is there any one willing to program the CHR ROM & the PRG ROM?

Because i lack the skills of programing.

Please tell me if i am on the right track or not.

    Thank you

if the test cart is nrom (probably is?) then you should be alright, you dont really need the sockets if you intend to only leave the cart as a Test Cart and never change the roms

yeah you'd be fine, strip header, split rom, flash chips, solder em in

Hi has anyone got dumps of the chips?

So i can just burn the eproms would be good only for my self as i repair them.

It would be a good thing to us maybe a snes one two and maybe even a n64 test cart?

I sold a SNES controller test cart some time ago. You can find the rom on the net.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
