Hello to all of you! It's very nice to have become a part of this community. I have lurked around here before as a guest, mostly to check out proto finds, console mockups and other things. Currently I am only 13 years old, but I became a "retro gamer" at the age of 7, when a cousin lent what I believe was an NES and Dreamcast as well as some games. This retro-fever further advanced when my family bought Internet service and I discovered the many NES sites scattered around the net, a prominent one being what was then known as NES Player. After a while my dad started occasionally bringing home more consoles, such as a Genesis, SNES, and even a Sega Nomad. It's a fortune that the hardest part, obtaining the consoles, has been done for me; that probably costed more than $200 total, and lately my family has fallen on hard times financially. Currently I am focusing on expanding my NES game collection, which consists of a measly 20 games as of now. That "retro" part of my mind has sparked recently, due to the opening of a record store where I live. I'll certainly keep you guys updated on my progress!
