    Ps2 3 Sony's PS2 Linux Site Backup?

So, whatever happened to Sony releasing the forums as an archive? http://playstation2-linux.com/

Nothing. They never released any compilation. I have a partial backup shared via torrent in this post. User AltNR8 said he has full backup of 8 GB but never shared it. Maybe we can ask to him...

Not sure why they didn't release it as they said they would, but it's Sony, so I'm not surprised... (don't get me wrong, I love PS but Sony just keeps on making dumb decisions over and over again).
Honestly, I can't understand why they still have that server up and running just for serving that 1 webpage which just proves they are way behind schedule to release the archive...

Yeah I posted in that topic. I am connected to you now, but it is way to slow. I cancelled it.

Would you be able to upload it to a hosting service like Google. They just released that 5 GB thing in the cloud didn't they?

Oh, and Sony has made some real stupid decisions. I agree to that. lol.

Have you guys looked here: http://psx-scene.com/forums/f167/lin...ository-89005/

Yes, Sony has screwed us all - they never did archive and publish the stuff from the Playstation 2 Linux servers. A petition was made, but Sony refused to work on archiving and releasing the files.

I sent an email to Sony Playstation Customer Support regarding the so "promised" archive of the PS2 Linux website.
They replied it will never happen (I can post the exact reply later today)... but then again, I worked for CS and can't really trust it to be an accurate answer... though knowing Sony...

Oh? Are you danielb from PSX-scene? Thanks for uploading the files.

I never claimed that those torrents were mine, and I don't think that anyone else on this thread did either.
