Ikaruga Naomi cart?

I've seen a couple auctions on ebay for Ikaruga naomi cartridges lately. In the past two months, maybe 8 or 9 have sold, and they are all apparently coming from one seller out of Austria who claims they are prototypes. (I always figured the main release was via GDRom).

Does anyone know more information on these? Is it likely to be some kind of bootleg or counterfeit? Just seems strange that a dozen of them come out of nowhere, and are being sold out of Austria

EDIT: Looks like general consensus on some other websites is that this is indeed a bootleg. Buyer beware.

They are bootlegs. This seller does this a lot.

what cart is being repurposed for this? or is this a bootleg from asia?
