Uh.. is there any particular reason to be so stark about that? Did your obtaining of it rule out the possibility of anyone else being able to get it? I don't get the attitude.

Yes, they did. I am stark because I am being honest and not beating around the bush. I could have said something like "Good Luck!" but that does no good either. There isn't an attitude when it is simply being honest. I had to fight for the ability to cover the game for 5 years, 3 years of which I was in contact with someone. The sources don't want to be bothered, they barely wanted to share it with me, let alone someone new with 0 reputation and no good reason to have it. And I've talked to just about everyone that had a decent chance of sharing the game over the 5 years.

Sounds about right. Leaking this IP could get the leaker a nice fat reward hitting them right in the pocket book and complete alienation from the gaming industry and/or TV/Movie industry. Knowing the right people and having a reputation can get you far if politics are any indication.

Exactly. They have tried to re-purpose this game in the past, what is stopping them from doing it again? And with mobile devices being around the right spec, heck even the 3ds can run UE2 now, it is prime for being reused. On top of that, MGM is highly protective of their properties. If the developers wanted the game out there right now, they would say so, and they specifically don't, having talked to many of them.

This is just like new people who come here looking for Biohazard 1.5, I'm sorry, but it just isn't going to happen. I'm telling you that it is a waste of your time, right now anyway, to look for the game. The people who have it can't share it, and the sources who helped us won't share it. Focus on an obtainable game, or one that potentially can be obtained anyway.
