Thread: Console Banned.

  1. #1

    Console Banned.

It appears my Xenon is console banned, as of now.
Not sure when it got banned really. It was on 14699 dashboard though.
Last online around... 35 hours ago?

But yeah, just went on camera as my mate wanted to see it, so I click 'Sign in', and there it came 'Console Banned'.
In the main launcher, I did 'Test connection to XePartnerNet' and that fails with the 'LOGON_XBOX_ACCOUNT_BANNED'

Although, up until a few weeks ago, this console hadn't been online for a couple of years.
Was shipped from York to Manchester. (England)
Not sure where it's originally from though.

No doubt people will want to see the ban thingy :s

    Anyone else affected?

Alot of people have been banned. These consoles don't need to go online anyway. Nuff said....

Not seen any bans, not recently... and you're right - indeed they don't.

Just thought I would though for a 'laugh?'
No big deal, all I ever do is play Just Cause 2 on this Xbox which is Single Player only.

Why not just buy a retail to play games on? Dev consoles can do such much more. /sigh

I use to own a Retail, and a flashed, few falcon jtags, an RGH... I know about Xbox Modding and I do use this console for other stuff...

Was only posting about it getting banned, I'm not entirely fussed considering I can buy a new KV for 60$, and since I barely used PNET... Don't think I'll bother.

I just don't understand why people are obsessed with using these online.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

Don't believe I'm discussing how to exploit PartnerNet, am I? So I don't see the problem.

I'm not obsessed with having it online, since he PartnerNet Environment is useless anyway with limited content.

I don't get what's wrong with downloading from PartnerNet. People act all strange about that, without really explaining why it's so "bad" to do.

Because the kiddos who get on PN leak what they find in an effort to look "cool" causing all sorts of problems for legitimate users and other kiddos using PN when they shouldn't be (such as ban waves).

I'd be afraid a leak would spell instant death for anything put out. Minecraft had a PN leak but thankfully it got a release.

Personally, I don't have a problem with those who use Pnet and keep the content to themselves. Who wouldn't take a peak if you could?
As for those who leak Pnet content, I appreciate them wanting to share. Unfortunately, it does result in ban waves and can have bad consequences for the development team.
I'm not advocating snooping on Pnet. I'm just saying, if you must, keep it to yourself. Loose lips sink ships.

Yeah, I'm all for people downloading the content.. if they will use it for themselves.
I'm against them leaking it though.

^^Those are the main reasons why people don't need access to pnet. Those few sit there and say ohh look how cool I am I'm downloading games that haven't even been released. I think I'll leak it to everyone so the people who worked hard on it won't make any money. /RANT

Now those few who keep things to themselves and are doing things right and not leaking all the content end up getting banned just because select few decided it had be best to share stuff.

I agree ^ and with that I shall close this thread.
You can't convince a believer of anything; for their belief is not based on evidence, it's based on a deep seated need to believe.
