Genesis MEGA Everdrive: how to force save type for game?

Hiya!I just received my mega everdrive and I try to run WonderBoy in Monster World which is an eeprom saver... but there is no option to select eeprom and the everdrive does not auto-detect the save type... So when the game starts and you press start it just hangs there waiting for the eeprom to get initialized or something... but that never happens ... I have looked at the options and did not find a save-type one...Any help here? thanks in advance!

edit: I think I remember eeprom is not yet supported? is this correct?

I don't think so. It's apparently considered easier to write an ips patch for each game rom that needs sram conversion, than support eeprom itself.

I don't think KRIKzz has any plans to fix the couple save issues since its a pretty minimum amount of games, I guess maybe he did with the mega everdrives though? I know Wily Wars has the same issue (translation patch patches the save routine)

Yeah I believe only Japan's sram revision rom is floating around. PAL had to wait for a patch. Or do sram PAL carts exist and they're just not dumped?

Thanks for posting this. I've been looking for that patch but all the links had been dead.
