You could try learning how to at least. I'd start with learning the various symbols used in schematics, they're easily found on the net and are fairly easy to memorize. Reading schematics is one of those things that's easier than it looks, trust me! It's a great skill to have if you're working with electronics in general.

That is very frustrating to read from you. I have been told and yelled at many, many times by users to shutup and Google, and stop letting us do all the work for you, yet you troll along doing the same and get off scot free.
Don't be a dick. It took me 5 years of casual electronics work to get down the basics of a schematic and another 3-5 to get the more complicated matters down (GND being a different icon in different regions for one). He is hardly trolling. Ignorance is not something to be made fun of or mocked. You got flak because you refused to take the advice of people who knew exactly what they were talking about and then mocked some of them while claiming you knew better despite asking the question. Up until this second I was seeing some great improvement with your dealings here.

If I had a PSOne on hand I'd probe the rest myself but like I said Sony can't seem label their board worth a damn and the schematics are somewhat different than the board layout. Probably just due to making the schematic easy to read and the board as compact as possible.

FWIW hitting up google to find out what the symbols on a schematic mean is a royal bitch. The diode is in fact a zener diode but IIRC they are also at a set voltage in order to do their job.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

You're right that it's practical to learn. I know how to read simple schematic and have basic knowledge of electronic symbol and theory but these psone schematics are a bit confusing and hard to follow for me even after looking at them a few time. Also that diode was new to me and I couldn't easily find a replacement for it online after APE told me about it most likely being the burned component on my psone board. I thought this forum was actually meant for question like that to avoid having good console goes to waste so I am happy that 98% of the peoples that replied were very helpful. Regardless of this, I'm still hoping haunted360 will find the time to finish his psiso even if he's so busy o answering forum's question ;)

Also, I personally prefer people accepting they do not know enough about something and have them reach out for more knowledgeable people's advice than those that act like they know but don't(not directed against haunted360, just saying in general). So peoples accepting their lack of expertise about a specific subject but do try to listen to knowledgeable advice are not what I consider trolling. I did listen to your advice and looked at the schematic and also tried to follow others forum members advices and provided the info requested by APE. So I do not see how you can get so frustrated.
