    switchless mod question

So i got a quick question. If i put a swichless mod or region mod on my snes and i have a flash cart like the powerpak or the super everdrive, should the pal roms work cuz on my cart some pal roms come up saying for use on a pal system only or something like that. Or is the swichless mod just a waste of time if i dont intend on getting any acual carts.

Yes it will help if you can have switchless mods as some games most are region locked.

    I asked them already.
They said they dont deal with customers from the U.S. anymore.
They must have got screwed over by someone over here and now that person messed it up for the rest of us.

Many pal snes games block 60hz. Any import solution that breaks only the region code, will not play such titles.

Postage both directions to the U.K. would cost so much I'm not sure that's a good idea either way.

That explains a thing or 2. There's a member here who helps run that site who offered to buy some busted model 2 Sega CD systems from me. I got no more replies when I said I was in the USA. Go figure.

It doesn't help the US discontinued outgoing surface mail. Very costly to send heavy items from here. Hell a mere 2.5 pounds WA to even CA is already over 8 bucks at slow parcel post.

We're more lucky we almost never pay import duty. I can attest I haven't paid one penny of that yet.

They might not, but I deal with US customers considering I'm in California. I don't have any kits to offer just acquisition of parts and installation.

    Consolepassion is ridiculously over priced.

55 pounds for a snes switchless mod it's expensive. 16f630 it's less then 2 pounds. I did this mod for a friend for about 18 pounds.

I guess I shouldn't be one to talk about price in this context. Finding a gamecube full dvd size case was a costly necessity for what I'm having him work on.

They are ridiculously over priced and I practically choked when I saw their website. I'm surprised anyone pays them a dime but then again some people find using a website to be more of a comfort than someone on a forum somewhere.
