WTB (US): RGB SCART cable service

Anybody in the US capable of testing, fixing/modifying if necessary, European SCART leads? Three of mine have issues I'd like to get diagnosed.

    Genesis 1 family: jailbars
    Genesis 2 family: jailbars
Saturn family: displays composite video instead of RGB from a Japanese console

Perhaps re-wiring them to use pure sync, rather than composite for sync, might be the correct approach? I'm open to ideas. Thanks!

    Yep.

The Saturn should be an easy fix depending on what you're using to display things. Jailbars seem common across the board despite RGB usage.

Considering the model 1 is DIN and the model 2 is mini-DIN they are dirt easy to source connectors for. I'd rather make them myself; could probably do a better job than SEGA did.

Im going to assume you didnt click his link...

The official RGB cable had all sorts of crap in it. Probably filtering the jailbars too

Maybe. It is weird jailbars seem more prevalent on NTSC consoles. There aren't too many sensible explanations I can think of.
