The south park game was the only one i really liked out of those i seen, not that interested in a new COD game or dance central and i might play Resi 6 but it might be like Resi 5 where i too a while to buy it then had it sitting there for ages before actually took the time to play it.

I actually barely play on my 360 anymore and the last few games i sat and played to completion have been on my PC, It's just got too much media device rather than GAMES console for my liking. Also i am not interested in kinect too much.

Well the games looked great, except they're almost all multiplatform except for Forza and Gears of War. The xbox glass thing is a direct reaction to the Wii U, which isn't even released yet! And anytime someone watching a television show looks away from the screen to look at their shiny xbox glass means they're getting taken out of the show's experience. Isn't keeping viewer attention the whole point of a good show? sigh

New Sim City looks cool, but from EA you can expect tons of "expansions" and DLC. Really like NFS Most Wanted. It's from Criterion and they know what they're doing. Shame i haven't even played NFS Hot Pursuit.

Hot Pursuit was actually damn good, the first NFS I've enjoyed since Porsche Unleashed. It didn't hurt that they got rid of the tuner crap.
I just hope Burnout isn't dead now if Criterion is doing NFS regularly, after the terrible Burnout Paradise there's only been some cheapo downloadable game...

Kinect stuff doesn't strike my fancy, though I may have to buy one just for Steel Battalion.

Also hated the : OHEYLOL We are announcing DLC at the same time as the game and it's on 360 first lol! /want the ending? Buy the DLC day 1~ only on 360!/
no, they realize that they will eventually saturate the market in terms of core gamers, and that they will have to actually find new ways to sell the aging hardware.

not defending microsoft. i also found it tiresome to see how they are pushing voice commands.
Oh great, so the Kinect software understands operationes en espanol. so?

but yeah... again i feel they are using it to unify a platform.
They are turning live into a PLATFORM in and of itself... imagine that you buy a game on the xbox, play it on the pc, or on a super powerful windows 8 tablet.

I think that is where this is all leading for them.

Then, you are tied into the microsoft ecosystem. Screw whether or not it is a console exclusive, i got my entire entertainment life on that xbox live service... that sort of thing.

Microsoft strategy is to go after apple, that's where the money is. That's why it will buy Nokia one of these days just like Google bought motorola's cellphone division

If it were an answer to the WiiU it would have better integration with FB, turning LIVE into a social network/second life thing.

The funny thing to me is that if trey parker and the other guy made that joke during an apple keynote they would be torn apart by fanboys offstage

"hey it's microsoft! win98 was 14 years ago but we still make jokes with that shit!"

    Lame...

The new sim city does look good so i'm hoping it lives up to previous sim city games other than Societies so sim city 4 back i guess.

I take it the new NFS most wanted game is not the same as the previous most wanted from years back?

Sim City will probably be crap without Will Wright. Same deal with Sims 3 unfortunately.

Wow ..... Looking forward to Nintendo's tomorrow but I am also wondering what Sony is going to pull out of their ass. Any and all should top that one.

It'd be awesome if Nintendo would announce a new Super Smash Bros. Well, I guess technically they already did, but I'd like to see some footage.

I'm expecting them to. It'd be a sad day if they didn't have something to show for.

So sick of all the over the top violence in games.

Last of us just showed a man get shot in the face with a shotgun while wounded and asking for his life.

    Way to make future psychopaths.

I though "The Last of Us" was uncharted. Nathan Drake with a beard.

Plus, God of War was overly violent. Maybe they're all like that, but seriously. Could we have a quick pause and do some free exploring?

Coming up- Super Smash Bros- The Sony Edition.
