Anybody know what this NES controller cable is???

Never seen anything like it. Just wondering if anybody knew what it was used for. It has a 25 pin connector male end and a normal nes male controller end

You know how these days you can just plug a 360 controller into a computer and it works, cause USB has taken over the world?
I think this might be an adapter to hook up a NES controller to a PC LPT port to use as a joypad for PC games. I've never seen one, and didn't know such a cable existed. But it's plausible.
Can you get a multimeter and tone out the pins? If we knew what NES pin was connected to what LPT pin that would help.

Male NES controller to male 25 pin LPT? Sounds like it hooks up the entire console to the LPT port, not just a controller. If you were to be hooking up a controller, the NES end would have to look a little like this-

If you dare, grab an NES, power it up and plug it into any legacy PC. See what happens!

Looks like private investigator DefectX11 has found what you are looking for!

Enjoy. Seems to allow one to hook up an NES to a legacy PC. In this case, a really old Libretto UMPC. Very cool little laptop- I've dealt with one before.

Hmm... well imagine that. Rather unique, but I can't see it being worth very much.

    That's for the miracle piano.
You can't convince a believer of anything; for their belief is not based on evidence, it's based on a deep seated need to believe.
