good ground point on genesis model 1

Hey all im modding my genesis model 1 and im looking for an alternate ground point.
I was reading the metal around the board might not be up to snuff.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Modding for what? Alternative ground point to what? If you're changing region jumpers or swapping the LED it really doesn't matter.

A ground is a ground for the most part. Given I've used the outer edge for overclocking, S-Video and region mods I can't think of any reason why the person claiming it isn't up to snuff isn't full of some sort of crap.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

^^agree, nothing wrong with the outer edge for ground, plenty of "meat" to solder to. To much snuff being snuffed.

The Genesis has a common ground for everything so finding an "alternate" grounding point won't help much with whatever you're doing.
