Complex released a program so you can softboot into a debug bios, ive used it on a softmod xbox many times.
Basicly you copy all the xdk files over to your xbox, run the app, select the debug bios (wich you must provide yourself) and boot right into the xdk dash.

Check Xbins and there are some tutorials at Xbox-scene.

This is the tutorial I followed to turn my softmod into a debug kit:http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-138.html

Depending on your softmod, you might have to find a way to circumvent the shadow C:
A rescue disk can be used for that. Best of luck. :)

Without added RAM it's pretty useless and not worth the time... Just saying.

You can do RTH just fine on a softmodded xbox with debug bios/dash. Trust me. ;)

The thing is, I don't use a Bios for the XDK, on my softmodded xbox.

Just place the files and use Evo X to boot it.

Well... That would work I suppose. :)
