Very cool- The sticker says that it won't work without something plugged into the back- have you tried powering it on? The value varies greatly if it's working/not working

Yes, it boots into games. I didn't play it to test to see if it 'resets' after a while...

That would be the switch for "resetting" the machine. Must be hooked up to some external timer.

I would sat 50-75, sure to go up in the future.

The wires indeed go to a timer.

Search for pepsi kiosks, these were in sony theaters at the time. Always find the empty kiosks on ebay.

Did these really come with the "spring on the lid switch"?
It suspiciously looks like someone used a "swap" trick to play backups/imports.

Best to know more, Open up the PS1 case and see what version of the Motherboard, best to take a picture too.

Nothing to do with swap trick. This Spring is common due to Lid snaping overs years time.

I have 2 of these PS1 units, 1 is currently in my kiosk the other has been acting up. I've owned 2 different PS1 kiosks, never had a Pepsi one both of mine hooked up to a reset switch. You can see images of my current one here:

Both of my PS1 kiosks I've owned I found on craigslist. I have seen a couple Pepsi ones on ebay now and then though.

Cheer fo your time, When you plan to sell like those, it better take picture of motherboard. Your motherboard slightly different due to add on Reset switch at the back. Good luck and hope it sell well :)
