    XBox Thompson DVD-ROM

As long as it plays originals and DVDs I'll take it.

Also looking for someone that has the equipment to properly remove/install additional RAM to an XBox mobo. I have a donor board (though I'd rather pull the chips from bog standard DDR). At the moment I'm only looking for someone in the US as the cost to ship two boards overseas would be prohibitive at this moment.

I can get Samsung drives for $30 and not uncommon for me to find untested XBoxes for $10-25. The individual selling a Thompson on eBay for $60 is unrealistic to say the least.

Thing is I don't want to buy a $10 XBox only to gut it for parts. Not a pleasing thought.

Why do you want a Thompson drive? Isn't it the worst of the Xbox drives? I think Samsung is the best followed by Philips.

Because I just want something that works for an XBox that will be used as a DVD player. It has a Samsung drive in it and I would prefer to put it into an XBox that will get use from the compatibility it offers.
