    OMG! You finally got it!

    Congratulations Borman!

Are there any differences with the release the guys at http://thegamingliberty.com got? (BTW, what happened to the thread they had here?)

I'm a HUGE fan of the Stargate franchise and really appreciate this, thanks a lot!

No differences, just covering it with some better footage, and more of it.

I need to find a title I am really interested in though. Kameo for Xbox 1 is up there, and maybe BC, but really I have found some of my most wanted games this year.

Where do you guys find these? Get in contact with former devs who just so happen to have a copy?

    That would be my guess...

I know someone that bought the 'garbage' from sears/tru/etc and has playstation/nintendo/etc signs that haven't been seen since the 90s... neons, banners, cases, promo times, everything...

He used to have tons more before I met him, but a few floods took care of most of it...

Mostly friends and contacts. Developers very rarely, since I don't like them risking their careers.

I nearly had the game multiple times before finally getting it. And people, no one is going to share the game with you, it's just not possible. There are maybe 2 copies of both the Xbox and PC versions out there, including the ones I have, and no one is able to share, which is double as true for people who haven't made a name for themselves.

No one is able to share it. If I could, Id of course be open to a fundraiser, as I am with every game that I am able to share. So don't go assuming things, I am completely honest when I say that I am unable to share it, as a condition of being able to make the videos in the first place.

Id suggest the new members read this thread :

Many reasons are given, including the fact that some things just can't be shared.

If its "impossible" to share why is it possible to do a fundraiser?......I know something's are contractually binding but I know for a fact this particular game has no such restraints.

Im not asking for a general release and I don't even expect one for this game will ever happen now all builds have been locked down.

It is NOT possible to do a fundraiser. IF I COULD being the key. I can't. I made an agreement not to release it so that I could cover, simple as that, and MGM protects their properties pretty darn well. Like I said, I am open to release any game that I own, IF, and only IF, I don't have an agreement to keep it private.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.

The thing that is funny is that the user PMed me after those messages with an 'apology', telling me how they read everything I posted, and yet still thought I was holding onto the game to preserve its value. The game is worth nothing(I paid 0$ for the PC version), I can't sell it, I can't share it, I can't let you have a copy 'when I am done with it.' This falls into one of those games where I am allowed to make videos, take screenshots, talk about it, and rub it all over my body while I shower, but I can't upload it or send it to other people to play. I don't get why that is so hard to believe or understand. Video is better than nothing, in my opinion anyway, and while I understand why other people want to play it (hell, I did!), I am honest when I say that the people who have it can't share it, and the sources that it comes from don't want to be bothered. They don't have publicly available emails or phone numbers for a reason, and I won't violate that trust.

People aren't asking for a physical copy. They are asking for a .iso.

If there really are only two copies of each version out there, and MGM knows who those 4 people are, then I see why no one has made a download. The fear of being sued for millions is understandable.

However its also understandable that there are thousands of people out there who want to play this game, and they might see "preservation" as making sure it is freely available to all.

While I am not trying to discredit your preservation efforts, or your library science studies, a .torrent of an iso is a way of preserving this game, and allowing it to be enjoyed.
