    The Ooze - Megadrive

    Hey guys,

I am wondering, how much is this worthing:

Also, what would be a decent price for a japanese copy of Judge Dredd for the megadrive? (with case and manual, without registration card and in very good condition)

    Thanks!

Both of these have very expensive Japanese copies. It seems $200+. Here's a completed Judge Dredd auction:

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...vip=true&rt=nc

However they're for collectors ONLY. Identical data stored on US or Japanese cartridges. (think Sonic 2, Sonic & Knuckles, etc)
Zero actual in game purpose to spend more for the rarer version!

I won both of these auctions earlier today.
Since I've seen the ooze for sell only once before, I didn't really know what to expect, and an other guy kept bidding. We usually hear often about the prices of the Acclaim games, but not much about this one.

I just hope I didn't paid too much for it, especially since I'm going to Japan next month.

You spent $400 for a game that functions exact same, under $6 shipped loose in the states? Man that's some dedication. :)

    Ouch.
I paid a bit less for Judge Dredd, and bought some other games too so I will save a bit with shipping. Not exactly the deal of the century, but oh well...
The only other copy I've seen on sell was the one Mundocombo sold a few months ago.

    lol yeah
The japanese artwork makes this a very desirable object. And the game is pretty neat too.

The Ooze is quite rare and expensive, but for MD it's still in the medium range I think. It used to cost around 20'000-25'000 yen in Japan (250-300$), but maybe the price increased a little bit. It's also quite uncommon, moreso outside of Japan/Japanese shops, so I guess you had to fight some people who were keen on it.

What, a white piece of paper with squiggles on it? :P

For a nation who are usually great at presentation, this one kind of sucks!

Ooze and Panorama Cotton are the only games which are actually damn good and worth playing. The rest of those $100+ titles are mostly crap. Panorama Cotton is especially awesome - beautiful game, nice artwork, and comes with a bonus tea cup.

The paper for the game is reversible, but I think it's still not much better (^_^).

It didn't come with a bonus tea cup. The tea cup was a separate campaign item (it was not included with the game).
