(UK) Beta 2 Xenon Xbox 360 Prototype Console

Hi all

Today i have for you an early Xbox 360 Prototype

Right lets get this started.
Console in good running condition, no problems atall to report works a charm everytime. very fast unlike most kits ive had in the past which i found unusual.

Right about the console good and the bad:

Good:
Good has original stickers, main case, chassis and motherboard.
all the serials match on the console which is a nice plus point.
Console has been refurbished in its life at some point and V2 heat sinks from a Falcon have been added to keep it nice and cool
Console has never had RROD.
Early beta dash still on the console. although i don't think its the original one shipped with the unit

Bad:
at the point the console was refurbished it appears the previous owner swapped the DVD drive out with one from a retail.
at the same time he managed to scuff up the clips on the back.
the same previous owner also decided to change the ends & hard drive of the console to be ones from a late xenon which are gray instead of Silver.
the foam round the lampray/stress wires is missing but this could easily be fixed.
it also appears the original RF unit has gone walkies aswell as ones from this age of console usually have extra wires for programming

The greenwire mod... What did that ever do.

That one is slightly different than the usual. I believe the greenwire+resistor "mod" was a factory refurb to make the pre-release devkits capable of updating past a certain recovery.

What's the MFU on this btw?

it dosnt go past a set recovery i did try updating it and it just goes THIS IS PRERELEASE HARDWARE DONT TRY TO FRIGGING UPDATE ME. if i remember right it was made in about 06-05

EDIT: actually ant, thats a really early dash, wont be able to run a lot of stuff.
you wanna be on the lookout for consoles that can update to the most recent one, which a lot of the early (protos) cant.
