Since Ricky's no longer selling, I don't think it's a problem to post this.
For those that are looking to collect beta discs, if you ARE interested in buying test discs, insist on games that are burned to official PlayStation 2 media. Otherwise there is no way to prove that the disc isn't simply a burn. Games on standard media are pretty worthless in the collector market unless it's a game that has NEVER been released. Ever.

Even then I'd prefer official media. But that's just me.
like 600 beta game i have, with out talk GD-R
another -R media only like 60 is useing offical -R medial(but they use offical medial also marked label is "master sample rom")
game maker guide line. for master source disc must use offical media. but the guide line did not say
they can not use another bank name disc for internal.
there is 80% FFX
see what media they use?

Yeah, I've got a similar collection Ricky. Beta discs are like water (just as common and worth about as much) if you're in the industry. As for collectors, they want a guarantee of official. A burn, unless accompanied by an official cert of authenticity from the developer, can't be certified official. ;)
Sides, the majorty of beta discs don't have anything special on them. Very rarely does a beta contain a feature or tidbit that didn't make the final cut.

HI_Ricky, I tried sending yo a PM but your mailbox is full!!!
On beta games good luck for official media I have a large collection myself and only 35 have official disc. My favorite to find are debug versions. I have a few that have short cuts since it allows for easy debugging on certain levels. Some of my other debug versions allow panning which is interesting since i can rotate below and look up though the ground, ground goes transparent.
Somehow...I think Ricky knows what he's talking about...:D
I could understand wanting official media...but that Final Fantasy X DVD R looks legit...
Death to Bill and Ted!
well if you talking i post legit ,
wellcome you post offical square sample medial.(i still want to see what different)
i have like 10 square sample beta disc. all is label on disc.
i'm happy pepole show me what they have (picture please)and let me know my one is not real media
hey look the dvd-r model no. it a master disc media in sony Authoring list.

I wandering what is "beta disc".
Is it a proto-type of the game disc from the game development company?
I never saw that.

Thank u very much.
