    Sega Dreamcast Power Supply

    Hey guys,

Anyone here (hopefully in AU!) have a spare Dreamcast power supply they are ok to part with? Mine appears to have fried the transformer, ive been unsuccessful in locating one... so even a transformer will help me out here :)

220,240v is what you're after right? Cause I know place that has quite a few 100-110v ones.

Well if you can't get a proper one and you're comfortable with a bit of modding you could always hook up an ATX pc power supply

Or some of these puppies! With a nice external PSU brick. Need to do the same for one or two of my Model 1 Saturns - Proof of concept video here. No reason it shouldn't work with a Dreamcast though. Here's the DC-DC converters I got. Unless you are trying to keep it nice and in one piece without mods hanging off it :-)

Does the Dreamcast use a 12V or 9V rail with the 5V and 3.3V rails?
I thought it was 9V or am I confusing my Saturns with Dreamcasts again?
I only have a Japanese one handy at the moment so can't really check on a PAL unit.
