Looking for an affordable hotel/hostel near Los Angeles Convention Center
Hello folks. One of my buddies will be attain the E3 show. He's been looking for a cheap hotel/hostel for five days. From Sunday 3 of June to Friday 8 of June.He's not looking for any kind luxury, just being reasonably close to LA convention center or close enough with public transportation. Has anyone any knowledge in the area? Furthermore, are there any other members planning to attain the expo? Much obliged for your help!

Public transportation in LA is a joke, you're better off renting a car. There are however a million hotels around the convention center, google maps is your friend.
Hmm, he's leaving it kind of late... probably won't find anything close and cheap, now! Saying that, those who can afford to go will probably get nice hotel rooms. Have you seen the cost?!

The best rates are honestly by the Airport , It kinda sucks and so does traffic but it will save some money ;) But LA has plenty of hole in the wall hotels and motels for very cheap. It really all depends on what he is comfortable with.
