The worst font you've seen used in a video game.

What is the worst font you've seen throughout your gaming experiences? This can be at any age or time you've played the game.

When I was a kid I couldn't read the font from Wipeout 64 and had to get my sister to read it for me. lol

Second one would be Lost Planet on XBOX 360, the font was SUPER tiny on 480p impossible to see, and I believe many people had the same problem and the game was re-released, I think...

So what's yours?

The font on most newer Xbox360 games are terrible for the standard def televisons I have. I think final fantasy XIII was one of the worst ones but I'm sure I could list at least five others

^these. Dead Rising looks just fine on any HD screen but as soon as you drop to 480i it is a mess. My 32" Trinitron is a bit too big as the scan lines start to move far enough apart to generate some problems when it comes to reading text. Using component over composite/S-Video is a big improvement as my friends can attest but it still isn't good enough. The hand menu in Crysis 2? Very difficult to read.

To make matters worse I need glasses for distance reading. I don't need my glasses to read this laptop 3-4' from my head but for text on the Trinitron about 8' from my face right now? I'd need them or my contacts. I can manage with games like Rock Band with some minor squinting for a handful of text but again the scanlines get in the way of having it come through 100% clear.

Only HDTV I have access to is my Dell 2405FPW and it isn't a TV, its a computer monitor. But damn does it look lovely running the 360 through it.

PAL Terranigma. An already ugly font, made into a too-large fixed-width atrocity. The prime of all prime example why you sometimes NEED to better reprogram dialog for Latin characters. Complete disgrace to its source material.

I actually liked the PS3 original font. I hated how they decided to change it mid way though becasue it breaks your PS3 collection into "Red labels" and "Slim labels"

They did the same damn thing with the PSP, but just made it smaller which was retarded
