Ss HighSaturn [SAT] Atomic Runner Chelnov released

    SEGA-Saturn.net presents:

Lost Games Recovery Program Vol. 3: Atomic Runner Chelnov

Have fun playing...and always use the CUE file for mounting in a virtual drive or for burning, otherwise there will be no ingame sound. I really donīt know how complete this game is, as i only got into Level 2 so far.

    More games will come

Thanks! That's another missing entry crossed off the release lists.

Oh wow! Where did this come from? I know a member here owned the completed game. Did this come from him? Either way, this is a fantastic release and a big thanks to whoever got it out there. Just a shame I'm away from home right now.

Thanks to SEGA-Saturn.net and wheelaa. It's always nice to have another unreleased game for the Sega Saturn.

    Didn't know about this one...
When I read the title, I was like: "?? Thought this was released? Fail"

Thank you very much for sharing.

    EDIT:
    "Let's Running"? lol
I get the title now: Chernob(il)

Please post up how far you get in it. Iirc from when I played it years back it crashes on one of the later levels (5 or 6). Trouble is I can't get past Level 2 boss currently (been trying the last week or so), because I suck at this game.

Is it normal that the game lacks any sound fx? There's music, but no sfx at all.

It's a shame there's no Options menu and Pause function either. This feels like an arcade emulator running on the Sega Saturn rather than a proper console version that was going to be released, though it's probably not a ready-for-release build.

I think I even saw something along the lines of ARCADE EMU on the game disc.

    Yup, no sfx.
I don't think it's finished as I don't recall ever completing it before it crashed, but it's been a while. Sodding level 2 boss. Wish there was a level select.
How far have you gone though?

Is is basically aracde code ported to the Saturn. Very much like my early Xmen Saturn disc. The game is also 2 player but you need to control player 2 with player 1's controller however you need to press start on player 2's controller to start a 2 player games.

So far I've been up to level 2's boss. The way the controls are mapped don't really help much.

I still have to give it a try on the console. Just tested it a little in SSF and reached Level 3.

I have finished the arcade, so I'll try to do the same with this and see how far does this get. But it's a little unwieldy if you don't even have a Pause function.

I just finished the game. It seems fairly complete to me, exactly the same as the arcade. Didn't got any crash or anything that prevents you from reaching the end at all. I also noticed that the ending music doesn't play despite of being present as CD track. Rather than that, it's the final boss music which still keeps playing during the ending, funnily enough.

It's a rough prototype because of not having any console interface and features implemented, but oh well. At least it is a functional conversion that can be played and finished to the very end, which is always good as far as unreleased games are concerned.
