Slides: Reversing Megadrive Games (and the birth of the dgen/sdl debugger)
Just for fun I gave a short talk at a barcamp on how and why the Dgen/SDL debugger was born. Here are the slides:
Probably pretty trivial stuff for you guys, but fun anyway.
Work on the Dgen/SDL debugger was inspired by TmEE's Sonic 3 reversing efforts. Also a thanks to Jorge Nuno for showing me this.
Powerful debuggers in good emulators are very valuable when it comes to hacking games. I use FCEUX and I think its Gieger version of SNES9X for various hacks.
