WTB - PS3 motherboard CECHL-00

I need a replacement mobo for a CECHL-00 (japanese) PS3 that has a dead HDMI out. I can put +/- $200 on table including shipping. I need mobo only, not case or BD drive.

Well the original Japanese PS3 machines are not too common outside Japan. They do sell for a higher price then the new PS3s, at around $300 to $450. Chances are if the machine is dead then it is going to be a motherboard failure anyway, with the blue ray drive likely to be the other thing that would be broken and they can be replaced for $40 to $80 anyway.

So although you are not asking for a rare machine, you are asking for a less common machine that a lot of people who have one will probably want to keep as you might be aware.

You'd be better off trying to get it repaired, you could ask one of the Japanese members if they will contact Sony for you and see if the machine could be repaired or use a third party.

Also a CECHL-01 would be nice. This jap PS3 has a mobo with a dead HDMI (black screen, even with resetting the video setting). This is a special "Yakuza" version of PS3. So, I need this specific model of mobo that is fit in this case (CECHL). Apart the not working hdmi out, this PS3 works like a charm.

Cant you just have the gpu replaced with a new one or have it reballed via a pro.

I have a guy locally who reballs Ps3's- and can ever replace the GPU. He's not cheap (still within your budget) - but I have sent well over 30 ps3's his way and he does a good job. Pm me - and i can give you his info if you want.

i have a guy thats does good prices for me only lol but i have one ps3 and 3 xbox 360s that need doing one a 2005 retail xbox 360 one elite 2008 and a 2006.
once there done there done for good i hope.

i should have my frist load of 360 boards back monday. and will let you know how i get on.
