    3DS.

Generally, for me portable gaming means "something I play when I'm lounging about". But with StreetPass and Play Coins, the 3DS changed that.

As an actual handheld to play games made for that handheld? The Vita. It's an awesome piece of tech, and it has some great games. UMvC3 on the go is awesome. Unfortunately, I rarely get a chance to actually play it outside the house, so it's mainly used to play a quick game when I'm on the pot or taking a smoking break.

As a general device, I always bring my Epic 4G with me, which I've augmented with a game gripper and several emulators. If I want to play a bit more proper, I'll us a PSP Go.

I've had pretty much every major handheld system during their natural lifetimes, from the game gear all the way to the ipad 3. Yet I'd hesitate to call myself a handheld gamer. Go figure. I like the libraries of these machines, just not the small screens or usually terrible controls. If I can, I prefer to play these portable games on a big screen TV. Stuff like Super Gameboy, or Gameboy Player, or a PSP Go with a Dualshock 3 connected. I even modded my Sega Game Gear to have RGB out and a controller port.

    Window Phone 7.5

Xbox Arcade style games, on the go, most with LIVE enabled features and Achievements too!

iPad and Neo Geo Pocket Color. I'm quite looking forward to getting the Neo Geo X when it comes out too.

The Wonderswan is an interesting one. I've thought about getting one a few times, but I'm really not sure how many of the games are playable without speaking Japanese, other than the obvious ones like Guilty Gear Petit or Klonoa.

PSP... until I get a PS Vita.
I also have my Android phone, but it's kind of low-powered nowadays.
That's all I have, so I can't comment on other consoles... maybe someday?

For me it's one of my iterations of the DS either lite or XL, i play on mine several hours each day, every day it's a system i love the games are really high quality.

Also have a PSP & 3DS but neither have been turned on in many months.

I really want a Game Boy Light. I have a bunch of GB games, and I'd love to be able to play them on a cool, backlight Game Boy. Currently the only way I have of playing them is on my GBA SP, which is imperfect at best. I'm probably going to get a Super Game Boy as well; I saw one at a local game store for $5.99.
