Samsung Galaxy S2 running 4.0.4 AOKP.
Wish they didn't gimp the SGS3 in america....would have loved to have the quad core exynos to mess around with...
The S3 still is an incredible phone. Daily use, you'll probably not notice it.
I'm so happy it's selling the iPhone 5 to 1 right now, but if Apple sues them for some shitty reason I'm throwing my iMac out the window.
Rooted Droid Razr Maxx OC'd to 1.8ghz ICS 4.0.4, I still get about 18-22 hours off the battery life. Amazing device!! I also have the Xyboard tablet that has the exact same hardware for the most part but the battery doesn't last as long so it is rooted but I keep the DC CPU's set to stock at 1.2ghz and is more then enough on the go. We recently got 4g towers and now with unlimited everything I have my tablet to do what I want when I want with about 20mbps anywhere within a 200 mile radius.

Windows Phone 7 was... impressive, actually. I'm struck with how damn smooth it scrolls, even on low end phones. I haven't seen 8, but I'm sure it'll be good.
However, the support for Win phone 7 is low, and it's not the biggest in the market, and so you will find yourself with less available applications.
Current handset is a rooted Droid Razr Maxx running ICS 4.0.4. I is a great phone; has a very snappy response and plenty of power for anything I have thrown at it lately. I get a full day of use including games, video, web surfing, bt and GPS. The build quality is very good, along with a nice weight and feel when on a call or messaging.

HTC HD2 (US T-MO version) running Android 4.0.4. The HD2 shipped with Windows Mobile 6.5 originally.
As it is, this old phone is pretty snappy and very functional with ICS and I'm quite pleased with it. Was an iPhone user for a while but since making the switch to Android I haven't looked back. Not trying to slag on iOS, just different strokes for different folks ya know?
Droid X2. Works pretty well for my purposes. I'm on a prepaid carrier, and I didn't want to shell out a ton of money for a newer phone, so I ended up with this.
LG E900 Optimus 7 Smartphone (WP7)
Quality is good. The OS is great. I have had iOS and Android devices as well. WP7 works best for me, it has all the usual apps I need. My wife has a nokia lumia 800. It has some special nokia apps, which makes it even better. The navigation app is great for example. The phone was 213 euro plus a 50 euro gift card. In my opinion there is no better deal out there.

Motorola Defy+
A m8 bought himself a Galaxy S3so gave his old 'phone to me. I didn't really get much choice in the matter as he wanted me to use some apps so he could contact me,- even though we are in contact through other means regularly anyway so I'm stuck with it and not really a fan.

That's my. I wish I had SGS3 but it's too pricey for me. And I don't like smartphones so much.
