How can I send money to Russia?

The guy behind the IDE 44 adapter said it is ready to ship but shipping to Brazil would be expensive.
Since this is not any surprise I said I would pay and gave me the options:

1. Webmoney

2. Western Union

So, webmoney, I was hopping it would be some kind of paypal but it's not, it doesn't support credit card and I have no idea how I could add money to the account.

And Western Union, the taxes to use WU here in Brazil is just an absurd, it's almost 47%.

So I'm taking any ideas of how can I send money to this guy because it seems paypal is not allowed in Russia O.o

I'd be weary. Have you had any history with this seller, or does he have an credentials? double check with that first before you send any money. Not giving Russia a bad reputation, but it's... "out there".

You need their address for Western Union as far as I remember...

Plus, if you send a cheque to Russia and they cash it, then dont send the item - what exactly are you going to do with their address? =/

Basically, the guy is building these devices and seems to have delivered.

Sending western union/cheque, cash, bank transfer is no worse than using paypal as a gift.

If you trust the guy, the payment method doesnt really matter.....

Its not the payment method that makes a scammer, its the person.

The problem is that even if I want to pay and trust him Western Union here only work if you have a Banco do Brasil (Brazil's Bank) account which I don't.

Webmoney and don't even get how to add money to an account there, everything on the internet, involving payment to me is based no credit cards, since webmoney don't get credit cards I really have no idea how can I pay this guy.

Find someone to act as a proxy.

You paypal them the money, they topup and send with webmoney or western union
