Scorpion XVI Been looking for like 3 months now and even put a request on my YouTube channel. A guy replied back a week ago saying he has one for sale. Agreed on it and will be paying for it on May 4th. Paying $200 shipped. Glad to finally get a very rare Megadrive pirate console. Too bad it isn't the model with the hidden game feature although pictures of the PCB show that adding that would be possible.
Classic hardware collector and modifier. Currently focused on Sega, Xbox, and Nintendo stuff. New Xbox project:

A working JaguarVR with all the games and demos made for it

That early memorystick-based PSP prototype that some say was near production level

The Saturn expansion board with the Real3D chip

The SNES ND, don't care if its the Sony PSX proto or the one Phillips made

I thought the OP was asking how did you find your most sought-after item - as in, you already have it (unless you sold it or got rid of it).

I have always, ALWAYS wanted a Turbo Duo and a Sega CD. I bought a Sega CD that doesn't work, unfortunately. Better ones are likely to show up, I hope.

I might get a Turbo Duo at a recycle shop if I go to Japan this summer.

    Fuck yeah.

Being patient waiting for sales on forums & checking eBay daily.
Also, talking & trading with fellow collectors.

i thought this, too. the title of the thread is "How has you find your most-sought object?" (lol) but the subject line of the OP reads "How did you find your most-sought object?". I guess it sorta shows how much people read the original posts...

yes, if you had found it then you can explain how. sorry, I might maked a grammatical mistake.

I have always, ALWAYS wanted a Turbo Duo and a Sega CD.
Cool ! te turbo duo is a sega-CD clone alike I think ? Me, I have a console name '' retro duo''. it's a 3rd party system playing both NES and SNES game. its kinda nice to saves money rather than buying 2 differents consoles ( except if ure a console collector) .

I'm not really sure what my 'most sought after' object I have would be.

Right now my most sought after items would be an Orange guitar amp/head set-up and still boxed copy of the Neverhood (both just price issues for me right now).
Yeah I'm artsy as shit, can't you tell by how tight my pants are?

Well, it's not that I didn't read the opening line, it's that I haven't found my sought-after object.

Ebay. Finally got an adaptoid for $100. Worked great until I fucked up my usb ports. Now I need a new laptop because i'm not paying for a new motherboard on a machine with 733 MHz of CPU.

There's PCMCIA cards that add two USB ports to old laptops. I used to have one. If your 733 mhz has a PCMCIA Slot, you can add USB ports to it.

I used to have one of those, too. I'm very unlikely to find it, though.

If I do, I'll drop you a line, but then again, shipping from here will probably be deadly expensive

I feel like such a rotten child, it's hard to really name something I haven't obtained that I've always wanted, but I guess I'd have to say my DTL-T10000H, I traded some Nintendo naughties for her, BEST trade ever made, next to that, I recently got my FAT PS3 TEST!

I have a pretty shit collection at the moment, so the most "sought" object I have would likely be my Sega Nomad. It's not super rare, but definitely uncommon. I think my dad picked it up for me on eBay when I was young.

I do also have this GameGear game "Tempo Jr" which I think might be pretty rare too.

At the moment I'm trying to pick up a NES-101 (otherwise known as the Top Loader) but god damn those things are pretty expensive..
