ed64 saving

i just got my ed64 all of the games that save to the cart were working like super smash bros and banjo kazzoie but zelda ocarina of time will not save why? and how do i save games with a controller pack? i was told the ed64 does not toutch the pack and saves it to the sd. so why can't i save ones that require a pack? other than that it is great so far.

Controller pack saving should work perfectly fine from the get go. Maybe the battery inside it needs replacing. For non controller pack games you have to press the reset button before you turn the power off.

ed64 do nothing with controller pack, so problem in controller pack. saves in zelda may not work in case if you use old version of OS or just forgot to push reset before shutdown

i was using 1.23 and i did press reset it is till not saving. so are you saying i can't save controller pack games!

for controller pak games you need a nice working controller pak (lol that sounds so basic I know, people avoid sarcasm please xD)

download os v1.25 and saves in zelda definitely will work

do i need a different rom of zelda every other game works good for saving i am using rom u 1.0 [!]

so i don't know why i can't save it all other sram games i use save fine. i tryed updating the os to 1.25 but most of the games wont run on the new os.

try to reformat SD card or use another SD card
