Thinking it'd be a quick 10 minute job I thought I'd try to put the finishing touches to my supergun this bank holiday weekend. The main part was wiring up the RGB->VGA convertor I bought ages ago and using it on my main screen.
Unfortunately as the video shows I am not getting any green through the convertor and I was hoping for some pointers. I have confirmed the following so far:
Also worth knowing is that initially I was powering the convertor board off of a 12V feed from the harness, I have since found that it should be 5V (although the inscription on the PCB says 5-12V).
- VGA Lead is good (My Naomi works fine)
- I have continuity from the green on the Jamma board all the way through to to the green pin on the convertor's PCB.
- When I adjust the green pot on the board it seems to affect the overall brightness[?] of the image but does not display any green.
Everything is telling be that the convertor is broken but before I chuck it I wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas?
Cheers
