Thread: Famimaga Vol. 3. Feb. 9 1996 - Magazine Scanning Announcement

  1. #1

Sfc 3 Famimaga Magazine Vol. 3. Feb. 9 1996 (Scanning Project)

I am scanning an old Japanese magazine called Famimaga Magazine Vol. 3. - Feb 9, 1996 that I plan on sharing with the internet. Famimaga was, aside of an old video series of game previews, a Japanese game print publication that focused on games made exclusively for Nintendo platforms at the time.

There doesn't seem to be any previews with super different prototype things in this issue like I thought Super Mario RPG would (that game was the main reason why I got this), at least not explicitly. Then again, I'm not fluent in Japanese so I could be wrong. Hopefully, once I share these scans to the internet, there will be people with a fiery passion for old Japanese Super Famicom games who can translate these scans for generations to come!

For complete details about this magazine, please watch my video below and net me some views.

Alright, I'm on Page 73 right now in this scanning project but now I'm thinking I should just start posting a few pages at a time to get people riled up for this issue. No point in delaying this forever.

Would it be OK if I posted only a few at a certain pattern/period of time?

Have you ever checked out Retromags? They have scanning guides, plus you can get advice on how to release magazine scans. They even have a few Famitsu scans.

Way ahead of you. I'm just asking here outside of RetroMags. They want you to have every page scan. If I release page-by-page pieces of what I have now, I can draw along interest and create a following. It'll help motivate me to keep scanning and not have it pile it up on me, everyone wins.
