    Price-Check Request for Multiple Items

    Hi everyone,

As some members of this forum will know, I've been asking a few random questions recently trying to price a few of the items I've collected over the years, but am now considering parting with. Currently, there's still a big "might part with" hovering over some of them, but in order to determine if I sell, trade or keep, I think it's about time I found out their potential worth.

So, without further adieu, here's what I've managed to dig up this time round:

    1. Metal Gear Solid (PS1) NTSC-J Trial Version
I believe this came packaged with some sort of baseball game in Japan, but I only have what you see here. Tried it out to verify if it was working, and had no problems whatsoever. Comes with small, folded inlay containing playing instructions and listing the controls.

    2. Onimusha 2 (PS2) PAL Promo
The outer packaging, although very nice in terms of design, is a bit tatty and the disc contains some scratching. Luckily, it works and I didn't notice any nasty skipping during game play.

    3. Silent Hill 3 (PS2) PAL Promo
Comes with small, folded inlay containing playing instructions and listing the controls.

    4. Shadow of the Colossus (PS2) PAL Promo
Comes with small, folded inlay containing playing instructions and listing the controls.

    5. ICO (PS2) PAL Promo
Same as the disc above, but without the inlay containing playing instructions and listing the controls.

    6. Halo (Xbox) NOT FOR RESALE
Not in the best of condition, with some noticeable scratches on the reverse. It worked okay in my old Xbox, but I didn't play it for very long so have no idea if the content differs from the retail version in any way.

    7. Sega Flash (Saturn) Demo Discs #5, #6, #7 + Christmas Nights
Just some random discs I found hogging the corner of one of my boxes.

    8. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (NDS) JP Store Promo
I've seen a couple of these pop up before, but never for Zelda. Disc is in perfect condition and I can confirm it plays properly.

I think that's it for now, but I have some other bits and pieces (Super Famicom Sample ROM, a couple of press kits, etc.) which I'll try to dig out in the coming days and add to this thread. Many thanks in advance to those who manage to help out.

    Cheers!

    @Mods
Sorry, I mistakenly thought that only large and (obviously) pricey items needed a corresponding name of a piece of paper next to them. I'll rectify things shortly. Feel free to lock this thread, or whatever the normal procedure is, until then.

    UPDATE:Done!

    Bump!

Just wanted to give this thread a little nudge in the hope somebody will notice and offer me advise on pricing the items listed.

    Cheers!

I can only really help with the PS2 promo discs mate and I'd say it's a bad time to sell them!
    Onimusha 3 - £1 to £3
    ICO - £8 to £10
Shadow of the Colossus - £8 to £10
    Silent Hill 3 - £15ish

I'd say the Saturn flash discs would be worth maybe a quid each and the Xmas nights maybe £2ish

The PS2 promo discs were fetching some good money maybe 12-18 months ago but they have dropped right off!

The Metal Gear Solid game came with Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu '98 Kaimakuban, which normally you will find in the hundred yen (about 80 pence) bargain bin in a number of shops, even on yahoo auctions there are several copies for under 50yen with the MGS trial disc.

    Hi kiff, Jamtex,

Thanks for getting back to me on those items. Just goes to show that not everything you think is rare turns out to be super valuable I guess! Anyway, I appreciate the honest answers, but I suppose I may as well hold on to these for the time being.

    Cheers!
