Tut: Launching Games from XNA Launcher

A quick 'n easy tut for setting shortcuts to your XeXs on external Harddrives on your 360 XDKs, i.e. Games on external drives. All credit for the app to Chebico.
    1. Download LaunchXeX (a nice little app made by the creator of Shortcut360, Chebico): http://mir.cr/OTQYQUG0
    2. Extract the .rar to a folder named after whatever Game or XeX you're trying to launch, i.e. for a game, the game's name.
    3. Rename the LaunchXeX.xex to the game title
    4. Open Launch.txt (don't rename it) and type out the filepath of the Game, ignoring the drive. eg: Games\Skyrim\default.xex
    5. Create another folder in your DEVKIT folder on the Xbox 360 Hdd named "Games", "Games Shortcuts" or something else appropriate...
    6. Place the renamed LaunchXeX folder in DEVKIT\Games folder and repeat steps 2-4 for every separate game you'd like to shortcut to.

An example of this placed on my XDK Hdd would be: DEVKIT\Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.xex with launch.txt set to Games\Skyrim\default.xex

Your games should all show up on the XNA Launcher as separate apps, saving you time going through XeXMenu or FSD or whatever it is that used to float your particular boat.

    Enjoy, Repo.

Why would you do this? I'm confused, just select the xex and click launch in the xdk launcher?

It's for people who don't have enough room to store games on their XDK Internal HDD, and therefore need to use an external HDD to store games, which is undetectable by the XDK Launcher. Hence you need to make shortcuts.

I'd rather use my WD 500gb portable hdd for when I'm playing Games on my dev than fill up my 160gb hdd with content I'll be moving on and off as I run out of room and have to pick and choose games.
