    Replacement laptop chargers

Ok, my friend (same friend as before, same laptop too) needs a new charger for her laptop. The original direct from HP is a bit out of her price range at £50 and I was wondering if there's anywhere I'm likely to be able to buy one which won't bankrupt her but at the same time won't electrocute her/blow up her laptop/set fire to her house/stop working after a couple of days. Obviously the £5 Chinese knock offs on eBay are tempting, but I'm fairly sure there's a good chance they will kill someone.
So basically, I guess, is there a middle ground between the £50 rip-off original and the £5 knock-off fire hazards? Even just a place to buy an original adapter cheaply would be good.

Hp part number 463955-001 if that helps anyone help me :)

This was related to one that sold with that model number so I think it may be compatable, however we NEED the model number of the laptop to be sure.

Sorry I only just saw the PM
I assumed that would be the case though, the electrical specifications and the plug look to be the same.
After looking at that I improved my search and found these. Do they ring any alarm bells (aside from the low price) or do they look legit?
The second one says "OEM equivalent which seems a bit odd
