    Saturn Chips and install directions.

I bought 2 chips from Trention and of course randomly they are both different.

Any help on where to install the wire would be great. Thanks.

I'm not a modder but I did watch the modder install racketboy's chip in my Model 1 saturn. He had trouble with Model two's.

You need to know that Model one's, I think, have oval power/eject buttons. Model two's are more circles...
Open it to find out for sure! The inside could be different in my experience.

You have a 2mm failure zone so be sure to have a steady hand.

The ribbon cable in the Saturn goes into the slot on the chip and the chip replaces the ribbon cables slot. Good luck. Paid to get mine done for good reason.

Racketboys chips plug into the board. these do not. On one of the boards it has a label that says 5v so thats where that power wire goes but as far as the 2nd chip I have no clue.

Model 2 are "plug and play" the model 1 needs the chip modifying. So I think you have got that backwards.

    OP:

    Pictures are terrible.

    Just an update:

I got the bottom chip to work on a model 2 saturn v0014. The jumper was set wrong for my system. The top chip isnt labeled anywhere so still clueless but at least now I can play my backups. I would really hate to have had to open my factory sealed copy of Madden 97. :)

I see no need for modchip in saturn. the swap trick works great. been doing for a while now. other friend have too for years. I'm sure in time the laser would give.
