Any solution for N64 Analog sticks?

so I have a question, has anyone released an N64 homebrew app that will display the controller measurements? Given how prevalent ED64 and the 64Drive are it would be nice to have a quick and easy app to use to check the analog response readings with

I'm a really crappy programmer but I changed one of the libdragon examples to display the analog stick value, maybe you find it usefull.
You can also test all the buttons. Sourcecode included.

Tested on Neo N64 Myth with NTSC N64.

This is maybe just stupid thinking... But can it be possible to do program to everdrive hardware that emulate sensitivity smaller that works in games when you play it?

that would be superb thing if we can change sensitivity to lower, so it would be better for 3rd party controllers to play...

Would it be possible to buy 4, maybe 6 programmed Attiny24 IC's from you? Dosen't really have the flashing skills (or I'm maybe too lazy :)) but I can do the soldering and read schematics.

I got 4 GC Analogsticks of eBay, and I see the sensitivity problem.

I tried the 3rd party replacement stick and wasn't all that impressed with its movement compared to the original.

I decided to try the 'tape' fix as seen in this YouTube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkAv07lRdhM and to my surprise, it worked fairly well. Now don't get me wrong its clearly not as good as it was when it was new but its a marked improvement on how loose it was and is preferable - In my opinion at least to the poor 3rd party sticks and pads.
For the sake of five-ten minutes and a piece of tape (that can be removed if your not happy with the results) its got to be worth a try.

Your right about the fakes and such; I have also come aware that the lot I was looking at are those dodgy Gamecube sticks.. where you lose the "steps" on control.. I also heard issues with people not being able to pull off smash moves in super smash bros for example as of it. I shudder to think what aiming in Goldeneye would be like.
I have just ordered replica 3rd party one off ebay.. so visibly it looks identical the guy said if I like em should be able to get more; I will let you know how I get on with them.. hope they will be fine if so I might buy another 60.. that then should last the rest of my life.. providing I buy back up N64's units too.. but hey are a lot easier to come by.. and would require less of them too :)

I'm not sure what you all mean there are no new n64 LEGITIMATE joysticks. There's a seller on ebay that has joysticks manufactured by nintendo. I assume he bought them in huge bulk a while back. He has 100000+ feedback. Im sure they are legit.

pnpgames is the seller. He just listed more. http://stores.ebay.com/pnpgames Says manufactured by nintendo. They look legit to me.

I just bought a lot of used N64 stuff with 6 controllers + 1 EA Sports type controller and some games for $60

Maybe most are in good shape and I am set for a while or 1 might be out of whack and I could try a tune up.
