Ads getting through adblock plus

So today I noticed that ads are getting through to me on firefox. Today they appeared on google, youtube, facebook, and the msn website. I reinstalled my OS and when I did the usual steps of installing firefox and adblock, and adding http://*.googlesyndication.com/* to the blacklist, I realized that adblock was not doing its job. this looks like a new version of adblock but to continue using it the way I was familiar with, I downgraded to firefox 8 and to adblock plus 1.3.10

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I was still using firefox 8 before I reinstalled mac os this morning and everything was normal.:shrug: This is a mac mini running mac os 10.5.8 server, before it was just mac os 10.5.8.

Still works fine for me brah. All the normal settings (easylist) and not even using the googlesyndication thing.

On one of it's latest update adblock started accepting "non-intrusive" ads by default.

You should go on the adblock preference and uncheck this if you really don't like ads at all.

It was a glitch in ABP, it should be fine now.. It happened to mine last night.
