I'm in the USA. Name your price!
I've got a model 2 with a modchip and region free BIOS installed. Looking for $110 shipped with tracking.
Console, A/V and power cables as well as a controller.

My feedback thread, since it seems somewhat difficult for people to find.
Modchip installation is easy, you basically bought a saturn + modchip and about 2 minutes of someones time. Your $70 price is about right for that, as you can buy a saturn on ebay + a modchip for about the same price today.
The region free bios is far more work.
The ones I sell also have switchless 50/60hz mod install and are priced a little above APE's and sell just fine.
APE sold one on here within a few hours at $170 not long ago.

I see. Well I have no use for that as I just used http://www.dcisozone.com/downloads/9...n-Patcher.html .
Do tell how a disc image patcher works on retail games.

Surprisingly some people buy originals. Even more shocking is that people make a copy of their originals to not risk ruining them which is exactly what I did with my PS2 collection. Comes in handy when your 8 year old nephew wants to play a game but you know that the second your back is turned that disc will wind up finding the roughest part of the wall.
The real shocker that will hit you so hard as to cause your grandmother to have a stroke: there are prototypes and homebrew out there. Some people do play their originals but would like to play around with prototypes and homebrew. One size does not fit all.
Asking people to "name your price" then rolling your eyes when they do is an interesting negotiation tactic.

Your price is awful and I am going to question why it's so high since it's my thread. It's pretty funny that you would think I would be using the modchip for 'prototypes and homebrew' when it's obvious that's not the selling point of it. I'm not interested in your system, price or opinion.
Actually Nully Apes' price is more than reasonable, considering you dont have to take any risks with the system and know that that it will work 100% with the drive/chip combo.
If you were going to buy second hand retail unit you would have to play russian rollet with the drive as there is no way of telling what drive youll be getting with the unit(32pin/64pin/sanyo etc...), and if that drive will even work with your modchip , as the compatibility is extremely hit or miss.
Not to mention the Bios replacement is pretty complicated and most users cant do it, and even experts require a great deal of labour and time to fit it, not considering the actual risk involved.
Your paying for convenience at the end of the day...

PS I really want to commission some one for some proper banners for the website, let me know if your interested.
That's not the point. I never asked for a Saturn with 'region free bios' installed nor have I ever heard of it so I didn't know the value of it. I only asked if that's what a normal chipped Saturn goes since it's almost double what I last paid and the only difference was a region mod. Then he started being a defensive asshole.
Okay now that we got that out of the way maybe APE can stop shitting up my thread.
You are entitled to your opinion. However the "obvious" nature of a modchip isn't purely so you can pirate any game you ever wanted. Some people do code for fun/profit and a modchip is a very cost effective way of creating a Saturn for testing code. In fact dev studios have modified retail hardware in such fashions for 100% legitimate game development.
:fresh:
You can't like, own a thread man.
But you're right, you can get a Saturn+modchip for less. I was tempted to offer you a second Saturn I have from the getgo that is purely that for $70 shipped but this defensive asshole prefers to do business with people who don't resort to name calling.
Addendum:

$14.99CAD for a Saturn modchip. Trenton_net is a class act and sold me my current batch of chips of which I've not found a single flawed unit.

Keep telling yourself that. Maybe that's what you and your friends on here do, but normal people don't use it for that. If you don't want to do business with me then why do you keep posting in my sales thread?
No. Saturn is different than other consoles. Its modchip will NOT allow homebrew or legal importing. Nor does it enable 50hz video for PAL games that need the mode.
Besides disrespect won't help anyone. I'm also among users who've dealt with APE before, and have other project ideas lined up.
