I need either a PC2700 or PC2100 1.25" DDR 1GB SODIMM RAM stick. Not two, just one. Preferably for a low price and sent from somewhere where the postage isn't like $10 for a small item. Not so easy to come by without paying $30.

Should be able to find them in old Apple powerbooks and laptops from that time if its any help.

Is this for your iBook? Be careful... I had 2x 2700 in my old 1.5GHz 15" powerbook and they gave me sleep issues where the powerbook would go to sleep (after a certain amount of set time, or when the lid was closed) and it would not wake up from sleep. The ram was upgraded, it was dell certified ram branded with the (M), 333MHz. Had to revert to 1gb ram... Should make sure it will work. The ram I replaced it with was advertised as "for apple" though I dont remember the brand, may have been kingston.

Haven't heard of issues, and yes it is the iBook. the max it can take is 1.25gb anyway, with the 256mb soldered to the motherboard. Couldve just been a one-off.
