I was speaking to dion about this two days ago. I don't understand why making a new, updated video to put all the naysayers to rest is such a task.
Even if it was not about proving yourself it would still be a valid thing to do as the quality of the O.G. video is a victim of the times.

I was away for the majority of this drama but I have read a bit and mikes/tonks mission seemed redundant and weak at best in the begining and chris was fairing fine but now dion is the one making things look worse.

The thing with dion is that he always demands that people sugarcoat their requests and never makes a demand of him. then when things do not go that way he plays the defensive card. The same cycle has always ensued over the last decade. However, lets not act like it's all natural and none of this is planned.

A person must realize and accept that when they make claims that they will be called to task to back up, validate and prove said claims with (more than) sufficient evidence. dion himself has always spouted things like "rising to the occasion". etc but you can't claim such things in order to peddle your wares and inflate your ego and then shy away when it comes time to back up claims that you make (and essentially throw in other peoples faces).

In the end though, dion has said it all before: that everything he and chris have done was planned and for a reason (not that I am recommending that anyone take that all at face value, but it is worth noting). So using common sense anyone can determine that by not providing what people ask for (in this case, updated video as proof of ownership of certain prototype games) and keeping the whole shit storm going he is keeping the fee publicity & hype going. He is keeping is detractors working to keep his name alive and not become forgotten, something that an egotist & narcisist (a personality role that dion himself has proudly expressed playing in all of this) would never want to happen to them.
