There is a maximum of 2 cables to solder (+5v and sometimes a signal wire), the rest is plug and play.

It's ridiculously easy. My first soldering job ever was on a Saturn and I did fine. :thumbsup:

These let you play CD-R media only. Region protection is a totally separate system which requires a different solution.

The 4in1 action replay never let me down! Also doubles (quadruples?) as memory card, ram expansion and cheat device (duh!) :-)

Anyone that has one of these chips please let me know how you wired it. I have 2 systems and 2 chips both different. One system is v0014 and one is v0019. My hope it to get one working.
