This list is pretty pointless. Personally I thought Blue Stinger was a great game for it's time but also think many of the US and Euro made DC games were pure shit. Again, this is only my opinion so it means nothing.

You read the list at the start of this thread? The point is for me to narrow it down even more than I already have so I know what not to bend over backwards to find.

Yes it's an entirely selfish self serving thread.

That and I enjoy starting discussions about the Dreamcast.

I really don't understand how anyone could like Blue Stinger. The graphics are garbage, the story is stupid and poorly written, the gameplay is boring, and the camera sucks. I really don't get what attracts people to this game.

I haven't heard many good things about Blue stinger but I figured I'd give it a shot I've yet to even put it in either of my dreamcasts though the racing games are too big of a distraction.

I know soul fighter is supposed to be a steaming pile of shit but I still want to have it just to see if it's really THAT bad

If you had played Blue Stinger when it was released in Japan then there was nothing that looked as good as it back then so it did look fantastic. As for gameplay, well, most early 3D stuff had turd cameras so it was normal back then. I agree that today this game is poor but back in 1998 this really was fantastic stuff.

The US Version changed the camera or so I'm told.

I have played all of the U.S. releases and of all of them, there is only one that I consider unplayable: Who Wants To Beat Up A Millionaire.

Yes, there other games of sub-standard production quality, but there's at least some redeemable quality in them. There is none to be found in the aforementioned title.

I think it came out in 1999, actually. In any case, there are many better games for the Dreamcast. There were games that came out around the same time that have held up much better.

I don't really subscribe to these sort of lists.
For instance, I absolutely love the game Haze for PS3... and it is absolutely atrocious.

Legacy of Kain/soul reaver games are awesome.

Shenmu is okay. I hate going to work in real life, why would I want to in a game?

Quake 3 was great online, when it was online.

hydro thunder is boring after about 2 hours, isn't the same appeal without being in a arcade.

Crazy taxi was just as good as the arcade for me.

Tony hawks pro skater 2 is a great game.

I hate tomb raiders controls (on any console, including the dc).

Wild metal is playable, and somewhat fun but gets very boring very quick.

Tokyo extreme racer is my favorite, more for the mystery factor when it was new, and trying to decipher what vehicles were what. The same race every time though gets a little tedious.

I'm going to the join the 'I like Blue Stinger' club.

It was the first game I owned with my Dreamcast and I played it through again last year (never could beat the last boss). Still a good game :)

Just to correct and earlier mistake, we got exactly 217 here in europe :P
Games I consider to be dreadful
    Most of the football(soccer) games
Anything with ECW or WWF in the title (especially WWF attitude bleurgh)
    Timestalkers, terrible, just terrible
    Nomad soul
    Alone in the dark
    Carrier
    Kao the kangaroo
    Hidden and dangerous
    Red dog
Walt disney world quest magical stupid racing tour
Both of the rainbow 6 games
Who wants to be a millionaire of course :P
    Ducati world
    POD 2
    Nightmare creatures
    Tee off
    Evil dead
There are more but I think this is enough for now :P
Also, Chef's love shack was bad but kinda fun, south park racing was much much worse
And soul fighter I think is under-rated, I quite enjoyed it truth be told

I loved Red Dog. Tee Off wasn't that bad and neither were Alone in the Dark, WWTBAM, WDWQMRT, Time Stalkers and POD2. They're just kinda meh.

I never said they would be awful to everyone, just suggesting games I personally dislike :P. To be fair to Tee off, it's not a bad golf game, I just keep forgetting that I own it and re-buying it. I had 5 copies at one point... so I'm probably being unfair to it. I just found Red dog massively frustrating and got sick of it *shrug*
Some of them were just a bit meh, I forgot I had written dreadful at the top, it's been a long day. So I apologise to the games I was unfair to. I still maintain that WDWQMRT and Timestalkers are terrible though. Timestalkers had pretty mixed reviews so I bought it hoping for something on the level of evolution (which I loved) but I was bitterly disappointed. WDWQMRT, the racers were two vaguely well known characters and donald duck's brain-dead extended family. If it were just called "mediocre generic animal racer" I would have been kinder, but sell me a Disney game and include nothing but characters which I'm not even convinced existed before that game and it ruins the whole thing...

I guess they're just my own personal problems though :P

Sorry, I ment 1999 and yes, there are many games that have held up better over the years but back when it was released it was a good game, honestly  Probably by the time is reached the US there were many better 3rd person games out there.

Haven't played Armageddon much, but Worms World Party is terribly slow in 1P mode. The loading times are far longer than they have any right to be -- if a graphically-intensive game like Toy Commander can load all its levels more or less instantly, a low-overhead game like Worms has zero excuse. Plus the CPU opponent takes forever to do anything, and the 1P scenarios have no restart option, which is criminal since you have to sit through loading times and reselect everything from the awkward menu system.

Having said that, WWP is massive fun in 2P mode -- my girlfriend and I have logged dozens of hours in it. It controls well, moves along quickly, and is as funny and unpredictable as ever. It must have been a blast playing it online BITD.

Yeah. When just before I moved into my new place I gave my roommates one of my DCs and immediately both worms games were purchased.
I don't notice the slowness, but that's definitely because we're always hanging out/usually drinking and playing together, as opposed to me sitting in my room alone.
