SMS games won't work HELP!

I took the time to look a bit to see if the games I'm concerned with have already been addressed in the past, and I'm sure they probably have, so sorry if I should have gone to another post. But I just want to ask this question:

Has anyone successfully gotten the following SEGA MASTER system games to work on the Genesis Everdrive? I really want to play them on my Genesis model 1, but they don't work. Perhaps something is just not right on my setup.

Time Soldiers
OutRun
Alien Syndrome (although I think I'll need a SMS controller to make it work)


I want to play these so bad. Can anyone help me?

Well using my master gear converter, my original SMS carts work just fine on the genesis. So I know you can play these games on genesis. But those are all my parents home.

Do you know when I can get a master ever drive again? Will these games work on that?

All three games work for me, though Alien Syndrome has the expected problem when using a Genesis controller.

OS 14 (yes I'm way behind!), Firmware 9, US Model 2 Genesis, and the No-Intro SMS/Mark III ROM set from 2008-10-10.

is it possible the roms are bad? unlikely for all 3 i know but maybe

do they play in emulators ok?
are they different versions from the ones others are trying?

No, you misunderstood. I don't own a Master Ever Drive. I was saying the original SMS carts work in my Genesis model 1 using an old power base converter accessory. But through the Genesis Everdrive cart, those same games won't work.

0.29 I think it says on the select screen? I don't see any newer version. How do you check firmware?

Aha, I knew there was a reason I hadn't updated the OS! :-)

As I posted above, all three games work fine for me on OS 14. So it's a bug, then?

hmmm, really works with os v14 - v23, but not with 29

Go to Toolbox, then Device Info. That's how it works on mine, at least -- I don't know if any of that's been changed since OS 14.

Well import time soldiers works (south American version). Outrun works once I tried different rom. But no luck with altered beast (SMS). Anyone get that game to work?
