Hey Krikzz. I don't mean to sound like I'm rushing you on this project, but do you have any ETA on this?

Hey KRIKzz, I just want to know if there will be hardware revisions in the future like the Everdrive MD or if the first edition will be the final one. If there will be revisions to come, I need to know for a project of mine. You may have seen it in the Sega General thread: "Project Sega Fusion Rising". I plan to have this thing mounted internally and if there will be future tweaks I need to know about the chance of it to make access to this version easier if I need to replace it later. Not to worry, it will be mounted in a cartridge slot inside of the casing for "plug and play" operation.

i can't look in the future. each version should be last, by the plan.

Good to know. I plan on getting at least 2. One last question on it. Will it support SD up to the new 128 GB version and Micro SD to the new 64 GB versions? Need to know the size limits for my project since I plan to put every ROM I can find that will play in it. Also need the space for save states, photos, and the RAM cart addition. Retro gamer to the extreme. Man am I pouring money into this ultimate Sega Genesis. Gotta get started on it...

Carnt wait to get my hands on this :) i take it you now have a good idea of price for the mega ED and also a good idea when you will be shipping to resellers ect?

was going to try and resell my current everdrive but looks like the missis has eyed it up for down stairs manly for the master system games haha.....:cur_sonic:

Ah, interesting, he has both a microSD and SD slot on it.

I like how the SDcard slot will be contained inside the cartridge shell.

I see little need to remove the card once is is filled with games so this is perfect! :-)

I won't be buying this for a while at least since I'm very low on money at the moment and you can't tell if a new board revision is coming out, but I have to say this looks very good. Not being able to use a case from the original ED MD came as a bit of a disappointment, but the internal micro SD slot will be great. That's a feature I think should be in every ED. The super fast load times seem like the biggest plus to me.

The microSD slot is within. If you're going to use a full sized SD card, you'd have to make a slot.
