    Sd card adapter

Has anyone taken apart one of those Sd card adapters you get from china/ebay?
I'm curious because I picked up a cheap USB Sd card adapter, externally it looks identical to my dreamcast one, the circuit board looks a bit different but not in any significant way so I think it could be converted, maybe. I would like to know how it's wired up but am reluctant to take my own apart in case I break it and the glue will be a pain in the ass to unstick. I will if need be but am just asking in case somebody has already done this.

Schematics are already available. When doing internal sd mod, I start with a cheap £1 sd card reader and use it for parts.

Heh, I butchered a PS3 slim 4 port hub with SD card reader built in since I never use it anyway, wired it up to the home circuit board I made using bits from Maplin and it works beautifully apart from the fact I have to dial back the wiring due to the overheating issue I've now caused (lack of air flow).

I've added a GD-ROM LED activity indicator as well hence the wires from there, all working. Images included for your leisure here (including a pic of the MoB so you can see what revision board I added this to, because - well you know - this is assembler - A.K.A nerdvana lol):

Uploaded one of the pics twice by mistake mind.

Let me know if this is f'king people's browsers up and I'll remove!
