They had several ideas for the cover and this was one of them. I have another 4-5 of these somewhere but I like this one the best.

But, I think the first picture looks familiar to me somehow. I wonder if maybe they used cover idea on something else?

I am not a huge fan of the final cover but I can see how influence of these inital covers led up to it. The cover with just the foot is just....I dunno the only thing I can come up with it that perhaps that was meant for the back cover or for a magazine ad.
